Responsible AI at Ezzy Assurance.

AI is a tool, not a replacement for professional judgment. Here is how we use it and the boundaries we maintain.

Our foundation in technology

Ezzy Assurance operates at the intersection of professional rigor and modern technology. Our team maintains the technical fluency to evaluate complex IT environments, cloud architectures, and compliance platforms. Responsible AI adoption is a natural extension of this foundation — we apply the same discipline to AI tools that we bring to every other technology decision: vetted, controlled, and subordinate to professional judgment.

Permitted AI use cases

  • Evidence classification and organization
  • Control mapping suggestions
  • Completeness and consistency checks
  • Draft narrative assistance
  • Anomaly detection in evidence sets

Prohibited inputs

Client confidential information is never entered into non-approved AI tools. We maintain a vetted list of approved tools with documented data handling agreements.

Human review requirement

All AI-assisted outputs are reviewed by qualified professionals before inclusion in any deliverable. AI output is treated like any other team member's work — it requires supervision, review, and professional judgment. Our engagement leadership includes CPA and Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) credentials, ensuring that AI-surfaced anomalies and evidence classifications are evaluated with both audit and investigative expertise.

Vendor diligence

We perform security review of all AI vendors, covering data ownership, retention policies, training data usage, and breach notification obligations.

Client disclosure

We are transparent about AI usage in our engagements. Clients may request an AI-use disclosure addendum as part of their engagement agreement.
